Academy Instructor

 Ms. Watrous has been a teaching artist at the Denver Center Theatre Academy for the past 15 years and is now the Associate Academy Director. She is currently co-director-developer of the Denver Center’s new monthly series, Cult Following. After finishing a 20-month run of Girls Only!, she performed as Liz in Curious Theatre Company’s Astronomical Sunset and as Karen in Sis Tryst’s production of American Notes. Allison also teaches at the National Theatre Conservatory and the Denver School of the Arts. Allison earned a Master in Fine Arts in Acting at the National Theatre Conservatory and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre at Drake University. Her favorite roles include Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Lady Croom in Arcadia, Sally Bowles in Cabaret and Betty in Landscape of the Body.
