Denver Center Theatre Academy Instructor
Ms. Montour-Larson is an Affiliate Faculty Member at Metropolitan State University of Denver, serves on the Board of Directors for Seven Devils Playwright Conference and is a member of the Artistic Company at Curious Theatre Company. She has directed more than 75 plays from Shakespeare to Pinter to musicals to the newest work in America. This season she is directing Good People at the Curious and Shadowlands at the Denver Center. She has also directed at the Denver Center (Well, The Giver), Curious (Red, 9 Circles), Arvada Center (Cabaret, All Shook Up) and Theatreworks (Church, I am My Own Wife). Her work has been honored with Colorado Theatre Guild Henry Awards — most recently Best Director in 2012 and Denver Post Ovation Awards. She received her BFA in Theatre from the University of Minnesota / Duluth and her MFA in Directing at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. She studied Meisner Technique with William Esper and Maggie Flanigan.
