Director of Human Resources

Emily joined The Denver Center for the Performing Arts as Director of Human Resources in August 2007.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Arkansas State University and has worked as a Human Resources professional for more than 20 years.

Prior to joining The Denver Center, Emily served as Vice President or Director of Human Resources for several Colorado-based organizations including Rock Bottom Restaurants Inc., Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, Inc., Colorado Foundation and Coors Brewing Company. Her love of theatre and passion for contributing to the growth and development of the “people side” of the business attracted her to the Center. Emily is determinedly committed to her belief in the mission of sustaining live theatre for future generations. “It is a gift, to be able to see and work with the talented artisans as I truly appreciate their various skills, creativity, craft and passion for theatre!”
