Joseph YeargainA native of Louisiana, Joseph found his way to the NTC at the Denver Center by way of New York where he was seen as Hamlet in Hamlet at LaMaMa ETC, The Standards of Decency Project and Busted Jesus Comix at Blue Coyote Theater Group, Andre at Metropolitan Playhouse, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Twelfth Night with the Aquila Theatre Company/Lincoln Center Institute. Joseph most recently played Polonius & Osric in Hamlet and Valere in Tartuffe in the NTC REP. Other fond experiences at the NTC include Shipwrecked!, Hair, Henry at Agincourt, Hamlet, The Girl from Impanema, The Threepenny Opera, Mad Forest, 5 X Tenn, and A Tale Told. At the Denver Center, he appeared as the Bartender in Eventide, a Labourer in A Christmas Carol, and as Buzzy in A Prayer for Owen Meany. Film and TV credits include Closure (2007), Poop Jokes Are Funny, and “Flight of the Conchords.”  He earned a BFA with Honors in Acting from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, with primary training in the Atlantic Theatre Company Acting School, summer intensives with the Aquila Theatre Company and at Stonestreet Film and Television Studios before studying at Tisch Dublin and at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. www.jyeargain.com
