Vocal Instructor and Voice Pathologist
Vocal Instructor and Voice Pathologist has been training healthy and injured singing voices since 1990, when she was a graduate student at the University of Wisconsin. Kate’s background in Voice Pathology allows a deep knowledge of the anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics of the vocal mechanism, which optimizes training of the voice and focuses on healthy and beautiful vocal production. Ms. Emerich is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), and has contributed several articles on the singing voice. She is also an active member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and Voice and Speech Trainers Association (VASTA). Kate is CEO of Vocal Essentials, LLC, a business solely dedicated to voice and speech training and rehabilitation of the singing and speaking voice.
