President/Chief Operating Officer
Randy Weeks was the Executive Director of Denver Center Attractions from 1991 through March 2005 when he was promoted to President of The Denver Center for the Performing Arts.
While pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Marketing and Finance from the University of Colorado, Randy joined The Denver Center. His employment began in 1978 in the Center Attractions Box Office where he worked in various capacities including ticketing, subscription, treasurer, and marketing and public relations. Despite taking a brief sojourn into his family’s restaurant corporation — and later as the Theater Operations Manager for the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (Washington, DC) — he became the hand-selected successor to Denver Center Attractions' founder Robert Garner. Since that time, Randy’s career has been highlighted by securing Denver for the openings of the national tours of A Chorus Line, Sunset Boulevard, Carol Channing in Hello Dolly! and Disney’s The Lion King, as well as the pre-Broadway run of Disney’s The Little Mermaid.
In addition to presenting up to 22 Broadway touring productions a year, Randy added cabaret productions in the Garner Galleria Theatre to Denver Center Attractions’ offerings in 1992, starting with Forever Plaid. Subsequent cabaret shows included Forbidden Broadway, The World Goes ’Round, Swingtime Canteen, Second City, Always…Patsy Cline, The Taffetas, My Way, The Last Five Years, Girls Only and Denver’s longest-running musical I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change.
Randy is a member of the Independent Presenter Network and proudly serves as a Governor for the Broadway Theatre League.
