Academy Instructor

Robert Davidson, formerly director of his own aerial dance company, has been Head of Movement since 1997. As a choreographer, dancer, and composer he has collaborated with numerous directors on productions of Ibsen, Chekhov, Brecht, and Shakespeare. His epic signature works, Rapture: Rumi and Airborne: Meister Eckhart, have toured throughout the United States, Europe and the former Soviet Union. He is the first certified teacher of the Skinner Releasing Technique. Mr. Davidson holds a BA from Hamline University and a Masters of Arts in Music from the University of Washington, Seattle.
