Description:
Ideal for a student desiring to complement his/her educational background with practical experience while working toward a career as a professional lighting designer. The intern works with resident and guest professional staff members during the season. Focus is placed on drafting, equipment maintenance, electrics, special effects, and organization as well as any special projects that may be necessary for the specific needs of a production. Pending qualifications, limited stipends or housing may be available.

General requirements:
The Denver Center Theatre Company season runs from August/September through May. Internships in technical and production departments, determined by current programming and applicant qualifications, are arranged for full-season, half-season or per-production basis. These internships involve long hours, hard work and hands-on experience. We seek dedicated applicants who will strive to participate in the most professional and positive manner possible.
