The Denver Center Theatre Company creates and fosters new works for the American Theatre through our Colorado New Play Summit. Each year Artistic Director Kent Thompson assembles theatre professionals from across the nation to participate in this weekend-long event.

Our 2010 summit included:

  • Two world premieres
  • Four readings of new works in development
  • Panel discussion featuring leading theatre critics from across the country 
  • Playwrights’ Slam with readings of excerpts from works in progress
