2012 Colorado New Play Summit
Feb 10 - 12, 2012

The Summit has become THE place to be in February. Each year Artistic Director Kent Thompson assembles theatre professionals from across the nation to participate in this weekend-long event that fosters the newest in American playwriting.

This year’s Summit included include:

  • Two world premieres - The Whale by Samuel D. Hunter and Two Things You Don't Talk About at Dinner by Lisa Loomer
  • 4 readings and 1 multi-media workshop
  • Playwrights’ Slam - a late-night gathering where commissioned playwrights read excerpts from their latest, in-progress work
  • Meals and networking events
