This short video offers highlights from my talk with playwright Karen Zacarías and author Helen Thorpe at the Tattered Cover Book Store about the Denver Center Theatre Company's upcoming world premiere of "Just Like Us." Video shot by Ken Mostek.

The free monthly panel is called "DCTC at the TC," and next up are Mike Hartman and Anthony Powell talking about "Death of a Salesman" at noon on Oct. 8 at the LoDo store, located at the 16th Street Mall and Wynkoop Street.

"Just Like Us" is a Denver Center Theatre Company commission adapted by Zacarias from the acclaimed book by Thorpe. It's the Denver-based story of four high-school students divided by their immigration status. It opens Oct. 10 in the Stage Theatre.
