The King of Navarre and three of his lords take a vow to live their lives akin to monks in a monastery for three years; the Queen of France and three of her ladies arrive immediately following, turning their plan on its head. Throw in a zany cast of “low” characters to this world, and what ensues is a delightful and challenging pursuit of love, culminating in a very surprising and touching finish.
For the audition, prepare one classical monologue. Also, be prepared for cold readings. Bring a headshot and current resume. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule an audition time.
Two previous DCPA Education classes or workshops required to audition.
The Master Class Project is funded through the Lewis Myers Scholarship Fund.
