Acting on Camera II: Vulnerability by Genre

Being able to share your character’s vulnerability on-camera, whether it be expressing unfettered love, earnest foolishness, unspeakable heartbreak, or inescapable fear, is a skill that every actor must regularly access…especially on-camera. In this 4-week class, we will explore and practice authentic vulnerability in the genres of drama, comedy, fantasy/sci-fi/horror, and indie comedy-drama. We will also be practicing how to share your character’s vulnerability repeatedly, while maintaining the personal process of compartmentalizing the work from your professional self.
