Lights, laughter, action! In this interactive and high-energy class, students will jump into the exciting world of acting while building essential skills of a performer. Through solo and partner work, actors will strengthen their creativity, collaboration, and active listening while having a blast!
Over the six sessions, students will explore improvisation, objectives and actions, script analysis, theatre vocabulary, and core acting theory – the foundations that connect to all higher-level theatre courses. Whether you’re new to acting or ready to level up your skills, this class is all about exploring, expressing, and enjoying the art of performance. By the end, students will not only know the tools of the trade – they’ll be using them with confidence and flair!

Join in the fun of creating an uproarious improv showcase for your family and friends. Class sessions will encourage students to develop, prepare, and rehearse an improv showcase while honing improv skills, tools, and strategies for effective instant scenes and characters. The core of improv, “Yes And…” ensures teamwork, collaboration, group fun, and dynamic on-the spot-storytelling. Up level your improv! Ready to shake things up? In this dynamic and collaborative class, Teen Company members will create an original musical revue that celebrates the bold, brave, and brilliant voices that dare to challenge the status quo. Using songs from a curated selection of Broadway musicals, students will explore how characters rise up, speak out, and fight for what they believe in.
This season’s theme – Rebellion & Revolution – will tie together powerful numbers from shows like Hamilton, SIX, Rent, Hadestown, and Newsies. Through ensemble work, vocal training, choreography, and character development, students will build a one of a kind performance that’s as inspiring as it is entertaining.

The final showcase will be a high-energy celebration of courage, creativity, and the unstoppable spirit of young artists who know how to make their voices heard. Join the revolution – your spotlight is waiting!
