Grades 2-3: Young Artist Company – The Day the Crayons Quit
Duncan just wants to color – but his crayons have other plans! They’ve written him letters announcing they’ve quit. Blue is exhausted from oceans and skies, Green wants more than grass, and Orange and Yellow are in a sunny standoff. Can Duncan find a way to make peace and get his colorful crew back to work? This interactive class will create, rehearse, and perform a play based on the book The Day the Crayons Quit by Drew Daywalt. Actors must be able to attend all rehearsals and performances. Audition preparation is not necessary, as auditions will be done as part of the first days of the program and a speaking role is guaranteed with registration. Actors must be able to attend all rehearsals and performances.
FAMILIES & FRIENDS: Please join us for the performance on Friday, June 26 at 2:30pm.
