In this ongoing series, we briefly introduce you to the actors performing in our plays in a fun way. Episode 84: Meet Nance Williamson, who got her start in show-biz as the Sauerkraut Queen of Marion, Wisc. Williamson first worked at the DCPA in the 1999 world premiere of A Hotel on Marvin Gardens, and is now playing newly retired schoolteacher Alene Johnson the DCPA Theatre Company’s world premiere of Benediction, a powerful drama made up of three interwoven family stories set on the High Plains of Eastern Colorado.
