The Phantom of the Opera has toured to Denver eight times…yet none of those engagements has brought audiences as close to Sarah Brightman as her forthcoming tour, A Christmas Symphony.

For one night only on December 4, Denver audiences can experience the three-octave range and musical artistry of a woman whose name is synonymous with one of musical theatre’s most enduring shows.

Early in her career, Sarah Brightman embodied the role of Christine Daae in the original production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera. She was the young ingenue who stepped up from the Chorus to command the stage and the heart of not only the Phantom, but audiences around the world.

According to BroadwayWorld.com, Brightman has amassed more than 180 gold and platinum awards in more than 40 countries, boasting global sales of more than 30 million units.

She has appeared on stage in The Phantom of the Opera (original cast, West End and Broadway), Aspects of Love (Broadway), Nightingale (West End), Cats (original cast, West End), and I and Albert (original West End). She’s also appeared in three movies (Aspects of Love, Reop! The Genetic Opera and First Night). Additionally, she’s released 40 singles, six cast recordings, 12 studio albums, six compilation albums, and three live albums. Next year, Brightman is poised to star as Norma Desmond in the Andrew Lloyd Webber remake of Sunset Boulevard in Melbourne and Sydney.

Her effortless soprano voice has garnered worldwide acclaim, nominations and awards. According to Billboard, “Brightman has a rare ability to transcend musical boundaries, captivating audiences with her distinctive sound and stage presence.” From a Grammy nomination as Best Classical Artist in the US and Best Female Artist in Germany’s Goldene Europa Awards to Singer of the Year from Czechoslovakia and three-time Classic Album of the Year Award from the Japan Gold Disc Awards, Brightman is a universally beloved superstar.

Now, she brings her holiday concert to 14 markets in North America, including Denver’s Buell Theatre on December 4, 2024. A Christmas Symphony has been described as “an angelic holiday home run” by BroadwayWorld.com and a “thrilling show that makes you want to believe in the magic of Christmas” by MusicalAvenue. With live orchestra accompaniment and special guests, Brightman ushers in the holiday season with traditional carols, classical pieces and other holiday favorites including “Silent Night,” “Ave Maria,” “O Holy Night” and “The Music of the Night.”
