Breakin’ Convention, the world’s biggest festival of international hip-hop dance theatre, returned to Denver and The Buell Theatre on November 3-4. Curated and hosted by U.K. hip-hop pioneer Jonzi D, Breakin’ Convention was filled with performances from world-champion bboy crews and cutting-edge street-dance companies. Eight local acts were selected to perform in the mainstage events alongside the international headliners, and many more local crews participated in the popular 303Jam, an afternoon of free activities and performances including live DJs, workshops, free demonstrations and performances.
