Video: Eddie Lopez works out with Fox's morning 'Everyday' team

Eddie Lopez of “Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike” puts the team of Kathie J and Meaghan Mooney through their workout paces on the Fox-TV  “Everyday” morning show. To watch the segment, click here.

In the Denver Center for the Performing Arts’ Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike,  actor Eddie Lopez plays an obliviously studly boy-toy named Spike, who makes for a scandalously inappropriate partner for an aging Hollywood star.

The same essential physical requisites that part demands also made Lopez the perfect guest for the Fox 31 “Everyday” morning show. Lopez demonstrates some of his workout tips for Fox hosts Kathie J and Meaghan Mooney.

“Can I just say, you totally look the part?” one tells Lopez during the segment.

Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike won the 2013 Tony Award for Best Play. This Chekhovian mash-up erupts into chaos when Vanya and Sonia receive a surprise visit from their Hollywood star sister, Masha, accompanied by Spike. The DCPA Theatre Company production runs through Nov 16, 2014 in the Ricketson Theatre. Call 303-893-4100 or go to
