Now in its 11th year, the Denver Center’s popular Women with Hattitude Luncheon will once again welcome more than 600 guests with one shared cause — support of women in theatre.
Coming up on Thursday, May, 5 from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in the Seawell Grand Ballroom, this gathering of diverse, vibrant women (and a few men too), contributes to the Women’s Voices Fund, a first-of-its-kind endowment that is intended to give voice to women playwrights whose work accounts for a mere 20 percent of the plays produced today. Eleven years since its creation, the Women’s Voices Fund exceeds $1 million and is considered to be the largest fund of its kind in the nation.
