Christopher Hayes
Christopher Hayes has more than 20 years of experience as a lawyer specializing in energy law issues. He currently serves as Lead Senior Counsel for Chevron’s Shale & Tight Business in Colorado. He advises Chevron in connection with a variety of operational and regulatory matters in Colorado, New Mexico, and Wyoming. He is also the Co-Chairman of Chevron’s Diversity & Inclusion Council in Colorado. Prior to his arrival in Denver, Mr. Hayes held positions for Chevron in Houston, Myanmar, and Thailand. He is currently a member of the Colorado Ballet Leadership Council and previously served on the Board of the American Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar and as President of the Brown Club of Houston.
Mr. Hayes received his B.A. in International Relations magna cum laude from Brown University, his Juris Doctorate from the University of Virginia School of Law, and his D.E.S.S. from L’Université Paris 1 – Panthéon-Sorbonne.
