Angela Lakin serves as Vice President of Marketing for Denver Center for the Performing Arts. With more than 20 years’ experience in the American theatre, Angela leads a team of more than 80 marketing professionals and 360 volunteers to fulfill the mission of the $70 million nonprofit organization.

Prior to joining the DCPA, Angela served as Marketing & Communications Director at Asolo Repertory Theatre in Sarasota, FL where she oversaw marketing, ticketing and guest services of a professional LORT (League of Resident Theatres) organization. Prior to that, she served as Vice President of Marketing for the Peace Center for the Performing Arts (SC), Event Marketing Director at Amalie Arena (FL), and Marketing Director for Straz Center for the Performing Arts (FL).

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and an MBA from the University of South Florida. Angela has held leadership positions with the Performing Arts Centers Consortium’s Marketing Executives committee and The Broadway Leagues’ Road Marketing Committee.

As a lifelong lover of the performing arts, and a one-time performer, she takes particular pride in introducing her own children to the transformative power of live theatre.
