Since 2016, DCPA Theatre for Young Audiences has welcomed tens of thousands of Pre-K through third grade students to experience the joy of live theatre.
Since its inception, we have welcomed up to 40,000 children every fall for Theatre for Young Audiences productions. Designed to introduce young children to live theatre, these stories range from classic favorites to reimagined tales and new found characters and invite young audiences to experience theatre for the first time.
“Arts education and experiencing live theatre allows children to connect their experiences to stories on stage designed to engage their imagination, critical thinking, and socio-emotional intelligence. We are thrilled to welcome students and families to our TYA performances.”
