Distinctive theatre in-the-round for intimate, powerful performances.

Originally opened in 1979 in the Helen Bonfils Theatre Complex, the Dorota and Kevin Kilstrom Theatre underwent a dramatic transformation in 2017. This theatre-in-the-round was completely gutted and rebuilt to enhance the world-class theatre experience for audiences and artists alike. While retaining flexibility, the 380-seat Kilstrom Theatre now allows for innovative design and staging. Credit card preferred for food and beverage purchases.

ACCESSIBLE PERFORMANCES

Experience Every Moment

We want theatre to be accessible to all. In addition to accessible seating, we offer American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation and Audio Description services free with paid admission on select performance dates. Broadway shows also have free Open Captioning service on a select date per show.

On the eve of the annual “Hot Wang Festival” in Memphis, Tennessee, Cordell Crutchfield thinks he has finally found a recipe that will land him the coveted title of Hot Wang King. His four-man team is cooking with plenty of spice and innuendo on prep night until a family emergency thrusts a troubled newcomer into the mix.
