Artistically-minded destination with lounge
Originally built as an art film house, The Singleton Theatre has been used as a theatre since 1988. Following a massive renovation, the space hosts DCPA Theatre Company’s world premiere plays, comedies, and dramas. Named after long-time DCPA Trustee William Dean Singleton, this intimate 200-seat proscenium theatre keeps the audience close enough to see every expression and detail. “DCPA Founder Don Seawell asked me to help watch over the DCPA,” said Singleton. “To me contributing to and helping with the rebuild of DCPA is more than just keeping a promise to Don. I love the place. I love the theatre. I love the Trustees, I love the people we work with all the time, so it’s an easy commitment to keep.”
You’re invited to take advantage of an exclusive, limited-time opportunity to name a seat in one of our newly renovated theatres. Honor the lasting impact that theatre has had on your life today.
