Break into the world of voice over with a flight of courses tailored to this growing medium. With these courses you will be able to take your voiceover skills to the next level with training in commercial technique, auditioning, and emerging industry opportunities. Explore specialties like audiobooks, corporate narration, and character voices while learning how to create compelling performances that stand out.

Unlock your voice potential and explore the world of voice over! Step up to the mic and learn the basics of voicing commercials. Analyze and activate commercial copy, learn to take direction and increase your versatility.

Prerequisites: Intro to Voice Over
Sharpen your edge and continue to hone your commercial voiceover technique and learn about other aspects and genres of the voice over industry in this class. Learn about effective auditioning, where to find job opportunities, home studios, audiobooks, “explainer” and corporate VO and much more. Transform copy into a compelling voice performance!

Expand your world of voice over! One voice—yours—holds the potential for an array of characters. In this three-session workshop, discover tools to activate character and character choices for animation and video games while expanding your voice-over range. Learn tricks of the trade from a professional voice-over artist as you explore text and scenarios inspired by the animation and gaming industries. Deepen your approach to voice-over work and develop new tools for using vocal choices to create character. This workshop is an ideal choice for those interested in focusing on how vocal choices can create character. Discover new tools, deepen your approach to the work, and continue exploring the world of choices available within your voice.
6 sessions, 3 hours per class | Tuition: $430
Prerequisites: Audiobook Narration Level I or instructor approval
Return to the world of audiobook narration with even more guided recording time at the mic! Students will explore genres of their choosing and receive feedback on their recordings. Special emphasis will be placed on creating and sustaining distinctive, authentic character voices and transitioning seamlessly between them. Specific guidance and feedback on both procedural and artistic questions will be an essential part of the class journey. Editing and auditioning approaches will also be explored during class time, and a home studio setup is not required to participate. Join us as you continue your audiobook narration journey!

Prerequisites: Voice Over Level 2
This fun and active workshop breaks down: what makes a good demo, when to make a demo, how to choose content, and how to approach demo production strategically without overspending. You’ll also get individualized coaching by an experienced booth director.
