We host Broadway blockbusters and experiment with new forms of live theatre. We bring the brilliance of Shakespeare to the masses and inspire the next generation of artists and actors. In its 43 seasons, the DCPA Theatre Company has produced over 400 plays and musicals, of which 145 have been entirely new works for the American theatre. From Colorado-grown musicals like Rattlesnake Kate to the works of Oscar-winning screenwriters like Tarell Alvin McCraney, the DCPA brings together communities through the powerful nature of storytelling. Saturday Night Alive, held in March, is Denver’s most extravagant gala of the year, featuring world-class entertainment, fine dining, dancing, and a silent auction stocked with priceless items and experiences.

Support the Denver Center as we strive to give women an equal voice in the theatre. Our Women’s Voices Fund, the first of its kind nationwide, helps us commission, workshop, and ultimately produce plays written and directed by women.
Our late Director of New Play Development, Doug Langworthy, was our “hand on the pulse of the American playwriting scene.” Continue his legacy and commission an up-and-coming playwright with a contribution to his namesake charitable fund.
