Anthony Powell
Anthony Powell began his professional career on a bus, touring as a performer with John Houseman’s The Acting Company. He served as Associate Artistic Director with the DCPA Theatre Company for 18 seasons, during which he directed more than 25 productions, including Wit, Racing Demon, The Dresser and Martin McDonagh’s “Connemara Trilogy” (The Beauty Queen of Leenane, A Skull in Connemara and The Lonesome West). Most recently, he directed Julius Caesar at the Colorado Shakespeare Festival, and is currently serving as Artistic Director of Denver’s Stories on Stage.
