Emma S. Kimball is an independent dancetheater artist who directs, choreographs, performs in, and collaborates on projects for stage and film. She has worked with companies in Colorado and New York including Control Group Productions, Ruddyduck Theatre, Built for Collapse, Nerd Rat Media, Theater Reconstruction Ensemble, and Canyon Concert Ballet, among others. Emma is currently a company member of Life/Art Dance Ensemble, an employee at DCPA, and an artist in residence at MOVE Dance Space & Arts Center.

As an administrator, Emma currently is on the board of Stain’d Arts and supports Undergrowth Denver in building community for the dance field in Denver. She cut her teeth at New York nonprofits National Sawdust, The Lark, and The Orchard Project after starting out at Perry-Mansfield in Steamboat Springs.
