Gareth Saxe is a Colorado native who is glad to have returned after many years acting, coaching and teaching in NYC. Gareth taught most recently for Montclair State University’s BFA program. During his 23 years in New York Gareth worked extensively both on and off Broadway and regionally. Broadway: Scar in the Broadway Co. of The Lion King, Nikolai and the Others at Lincoln Center, The Homecoming, Heartbreak House Off Broadway: Harper Regan at the Atlantic, Richard III and The Winter’s Tale ( NYSF/ The Public); J.M. Barrie’s Echoes of the War and The Daughter-in-Law (Mint Theater); The Wax (Playwrights Horizons); Outward Bound (Keen Company). Regionally: Hamlet, Importance of Being Earnest, Dangeous Liasons(Shakespeare Theater of New Jersey) Henry VIII in A Man For All Seasons (Berkshire Theater festival); Bernie in Sexual Perversity in Chicago directed by Peter Reigert (American Conservatory Theatre); Faulkland in The Rivals directed by Nicholas Martin (The Huntington). As well as receiving his MFA in Acting from NYU Gareth has studied with numerous teachers.
