Glen Lucero

Vice President of Venue Operations

Glen Lucero is the Vice President of Venue Operations at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. Glen and his team oversee the maintenance, sustainability and security of the DCPA’s venues including the Helen G. Bonfils Theatre Complex, Newman Center for Theatre Education, props warehouse and various off-site locations. He also oversees the front of house team and the technology division of Event Services.

With more than 25 years of experience in operations, strategic planning, and facilities management, he oversees all DCPA properties including two buildings, six theatres and a ballroom within the Denver Performing Arts Complex. His team encompasses Engineering, Custodial, Security, Environmental Health & Safety and Patron Experience.

Glen’s career passions include leading team members, establishing standards in public spaces, and maintaining safe and secure facilities for guests.

Before joining the DCPA, Glen served as the Vice President of Venue and Facility Operations for Kroenke Sports and Entertainment where he oversaw operations for several KSE venues over 17 years, including Ball Arena, Dicks Sporting Goods Park, 1st Bank Center, and Paramount Theater. He was a key contributor of large-scale events, including the Democratic National Convention, NCAA Men’s and Women’s championship games, Mile High Music Festival, and NBA/NHL/MLS games.
