Joel Paszkowski

Joel Paszkowski graduated from WAAPA (Western Australia Academy of Performing Arts) with a bachelor of Musical Theatre performance in 2013, where he wrote and produced a reading of his first original musical, ‘Wish’. In 2015 he received the VCA New Musical Theatre grant to develop ‘Stealing Picasso’ with writing partner Tom Reed. In 2018, Joel was accepted into the Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program at Tisch, NYU, on the Dean’s Fellowship, where he wrote his thesis musical ‘Much A Cruise About Nothing’ with writing partner Lisette Glodowski. Since moving to CO in 2020, he has worked with the DCPA, Rocky Mountain Theatre for Kids, Town Hall Arts Centre, and The Arts Hub, as music director and educator.
