Joelle Montoya

is an actor, singer, and teaching artist dedicated to fostering curiosity and critical thinking in her lessons. Joelle has worked internationally, receiving her MFA in Acting from E15 Acting School, founding Glass Moon Theatre Company in the UK and attended Edinburgh Fringe in 2015. She has since lived and worked in New York City primarily focusing on indie film, leading her most recent project “Sunspot”. As a Colorado native, she has returned home in the interims to the Denver Center for the Performing Arts to continue her teaching artistry with outreach programs like Shakespeare in the Parking Lot and Bookstars, as well as DCPA Summer Camp and Spring/Fall programs onsite. She is passionate about giving kids the space to explore their imaginations and creativity within themselves and alongside others.
