Krista Gano
Krista Gano began her career in entertainment over 24 years ago when she starred in and produced the independent film, “Chicks, Man”. She continued in the entertainment industry by immersing herself in the business aspect of Hollywood, spending the next five years as Dustin Hoffman’s assistant. Krista eventually moved back to theatre and worked with Tony Award-winning producer Steven Eich and Tony Nominee Randall Arney at the Geffen Playhouse where she was fortunate to work with luminaries such as Neil Simon, Annette Benning, Debbie Allen, David Hyde Pierce, Marcel Marceu and Uta Hagen. In 2002, Krista moved on to the Groundlings Theatre, where she held the position of Executive Director, produced the Groundlings 30th Anniversary Season, and worked with award winning actors, Will Farrell, Cheryl Hines, Kristen Wiig, Annie Mumolo, Melissa McCarthy, Jim Rash and Will Forte to name a few. Most recently, Krista is a founding member of 3by3 Entertainment, has directed and produced “Dime Short” and “The Family Hood” and is producing the feature film, “Comfort Food”. In 2014, she founded, and is the director of, The Working Artist Group. She has been teaching for over 10 years and loves helping artists harness and direct their careers towards greater success.
