Madison Falkenstine
Madison is an award-winning actress, opera singer, and educator with over a decade of teaching experience. She holds a Master of Music from the University of Colorado Boulder, where she also served as the assistant director for the Eklund Opera Program. For seven years, she was on faculty at the Academy of Children’s Theatre, where she served as Artistic Director and directed mainstage productions including Bye Bye Birdie, Seussical, Tuck Everlasting, and Oklahoma!. Currently, she works as a teaching artist with the DCPA. Her opera roles include: Duchess Carolina in Moreno’s Luisa Fernanda, Ma in Missy Mazzoli’s Proving Up, the Dew Fairy and Gretel in Humperdinck’s Hänsel und Gretel, and Mabel in the Pirates of Penzance. Her musical theatre roles include: Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins (Parker Arts and Give 5 Productions) for which she received a Henry Award Nomination, Katherine Plumber in Newsies (Village Arts), and Frenchy in Grease! (Parker Arts). In addition to her extensive theatre and opera work, she maintains a thriving private vocal studio, where she trains singers of all ages in both classical and contemporary styles. With a background that bridges professional performance and pedagogy, she is committed to nurturing the next generation of artists through creativity, technique, and a deep love of storytelling.
