Maggy Stacy

Maggy has been a teaching artist and performer in Denver for several years. She is also the Program Director of Athena Project’s Girls Write, a 7th grade playwriting program at GALS charter school. A number of these plays are produced at the Denver Center Conservatory Theatre during Athena Project Arts Festival. She has worked as an actor in film, commercial, and educational avenues, as well as theatres all around Denver. Some favorite roles include Honey (Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf), Maggie (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof), Chorus (Medea), The Queen of Narnia (The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe), Mrs. Danvers (Rebecca), and Izzy (Rabbit Hole). She received her BA in Psychology, minoring in Theatre, at Metropolitan State University of Denver.
