Tom Littman is a professional actor, teaching artist, and director who got his start as a high school intern with the DCPA’s Summer Academy back in 2004. Tom holds a BA in Theatre Acting from the University of Nothern Colorado and has studied at the O’Neill National Theatre Institute. In NYC, Tom was a Co-founder and Artistic Director of a 501c3 non-profit classical theatre company called Tale Told Productions. He has directed Much Ado about Nothing, As You Like It, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Two Gentlemen of Verona. He has traveled across the country to perform and teach. He has reached thousands of students through the Utah Shakespeares Educational Department and most recently with the DCPA’s Shakespeare in the Parking Lot tour. Tom is passionate about reaching students through theatrical work to foster empathy and encourage the building blocks of collaborative problem-solving.
