Maria Cina (she/they)

Maria Cina (she/they) is a recent transplant from Wyoming, originally hailing from Madison, Wisconsin where they began acting at the age of 13. Since then, she has acted, directed, costumed, and makeup designed, working within the educational, community, and professional sectors of the industry. Shakespeare in the Parking Lot is Maria’s debut with The Denver Center. Recent performance credits include Hera in The Tragedy of Medusa (Two Cent Lion), Benvolio in Romeo and Juliet (Thin Air Shakespeare), Ariel in The Pillowman (Commonweal Theatre Company), Kendra in The Gulf (Rankin Theatre Guild), and Seneca Howland in Men on Boats (Strollers Theatre Company). She has also assistant directed Russian Troll Farm (Strollers Theatre Company) and Good People (Commonweal Theatre Company). She holds an Acting Certificate from the Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin, Ireland.
