High School: Summer Teen Intensive
Looking for a challenge this summer? Ready to strengthen your craft? If you’re excelling in your school theatre department and looking for a challenge, this two-week conservatory-style intensive is crafted to elevate your performance skills and prepare you for a serious path in theatre and film. Modeled after top college acting programs, this experience is open to high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Led by professional artists from the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, students will strengthen their craft through focused training in acting technique, character development, voice and movement, and text analysis. Collaborate with passionate peers, build your actor’s toolbox, and rehearse scenes that push your artistry forward. This is a college-level course that requires outside preparation before the program begins, as well as ongoing work throughout the session. Students are expected to come ready to engage deeply, take creative risks, and commit to the process.
