DCPA Honored with 47 Henry Awards Nominations
The Henry Awards honor outstanding theatre achievements in Colorado. Established in 2006 by the Colorado Theatre Guild, the event also serves as the CTG’s annual fundraiser. Named after Denver theatre producer, Henry Lowenstein, nominees come together to celebrate and support the arts across Colorado. This year, the 16th annual awards ceremony will take place on July 25 at the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities.
The Denver Center for the Performing Arts was honored with 47 total nominations this year. The categories range from outstanding achievement by performers, directors and designers, to overall productions. The full list of nominations is below, DCPA nominations are in bold.
Note: Tier I includes theatre companies with annual budgets of $500,000 or more, while Tier II includes theatre companies with lower annual budgets.
