ENTRANCE & ARRIVAL INFO
The Hangar at Stanley Marketplace, 2501 Dallas St, Aurora, CO 80010
Stanley Marketplace is a popular community marketplace with over 50 businesses. There is a lot to do, unique places to shop and tasty food to eat, so we encourage you to arrive early or stay after your visit! Stanley has 400 free parking spaces and overflow parking is available in the nearby neighborhood.
Entry to Van Gogh Alive will be in 15-minute increments. For example, if your ticket is for 3pm, you’ll be able to enter between 3pm and 3:15pm. Please plan to arrive early so you are ready to go.
Because the number of tickets for each time slot is strictly limited and this event is popular, we strongly recommend booking tickets online in advance of your visit.
Why 15-minute entries? To give you the time and space to look at all of the mesmerizing details! Timed ticketing greatly reduces wait times and crowding.
The experience is open Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10am to 8pm and Friday and Saturday from 10am to 9pm. Final entry is one hour before the experience closes. Closed Mondays. Please review the ticketing calendar for date-specific details.
Due to the popularity of the experience, late entry is at the discretion of house management. Our team will do its best but late entry is not guaranteed.
ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE
Van Gogh Alive is not an art exhibition in the traditional sense! It is an immersive, multi-sensory multimedia art experience that combines high definition projections of Van Gogh’s paintings with digital surround sound. Imagery and animations are projected at a scale that offers visitors the ability to see the details of the artist’s work like never before. More than 3,000 images transform each surface. There is no physical artwork by Vincent Van Gogh on display.
Individual visit times vary, but most visitors can anticipate spending 60 – 90 minutes. The main feature of the exhibition lasts approximately 45 minutes.
Please note closing times on our ticketing calendar. All visitors will be asked to exit at closing time regardless of what time they entered the experience.

The DCPA is presenting Van Gogh Alive. The first of its kind, Van Gogh Alive has welcomed over seven million visitors worldwide in over 66 cities on six continents since its inception in 2011. Unique to Denver, the DCPA engagement includes two walk-in representations featuring Van Gogh’s “Bedroom in Arles” painting and the iconic “Sunflower selfie room” — both serving as an incredible backdrop for photographers and selfie lovers.
Immersive Van Gogh is a completely different experience and is neither associated with Van Gogh Alive nor the DCPA.
