Favorite Characters Onstage in 2025

A new year and new (familiar) faces. The DCPA is ushering in 2025 with plenty of fan-favorites, sure to bring some beloved characters to the stage.

Check this list below to see who will be walking in from stage right in the coming months.

Doc Brown & Marty McFly

These two characters are synonymous with time travel. Back to the Future: The Musical hits the Buell Theatre January 22-February 9.

Regina George

The eponymous mean girl: Regina George. Her iconic pink clothes and infamous attitude are recognizable from miles away. Mean Girls stops in Denver February 25-March 2.


NARUTO The Symphonic Experience

Naruto

This anime star is one of the most famous characters of all time. NARUTO: The Symphonic Experience is a one-night-only engagement on April 1 in the Ellie Caulkins Opera House.

Little Shop of Horrors, the horror/comedy/musical/satire that has a place in every theatre kid’s heart is coming to the Wolf Theatre this spring – the best time of year for growth. Seymour and his plant will be onstage April 11-May 25.

Donna & Sophie (and her three dads)

Fan-favorite Mamma Mia! returns to the Buell stage this summer. Just a mom, her daughter, and three possible dads. Don’t miss seeing Sophie on June 25-29.

A kiss on the hand may be quite continental, but Moulin Rouge! is a girl’s best friend. Glamorous Satine and romantic Christian will be in Denver August 5-10.
