If you’ve ever asked — “how’d they do that?” — now you can find out! The DCPA public tour program offers Behind-the-Scenes Tours of the Arts Complex every Monday and Saturday. During these ninety minute to two-hour walking tours, you will experience recent updates to our storied performance spaces and discover the people and processes that bring theatre to life. *
- Learn about the creation of the Arts Complex and the resident companies housed here
- Discover the origins of various public art pieces throughout the complex
- Get an in-depth look at the Arts Complex venues, including the newly renovated Bonfils Theatre Complex.
- Take a peek at Actor’s Alley, filled with Broadway show posters signed by touring cast members
- Visit the production shops of the Denver Center Theatre Company, where you will get an insider’s look at everything from set model miniatures and costumes-in-progress to up-close set pieces and props galore
*All portions of the tour pathway described or pictured above are subject to availability. The Ellie Caulkins Opera House is going to be offline for refurbishment starting June 8. All tours will be excluded from the Ellie Cualkins until September.
Tours take place Mondays and Saturdays at 10:00am. Tickets must be purchased online in advance.
