Denver Center Theatre Company Artistic Director Chris Coleman is proud to announce the 2026/27 season for the regional producing theatre arm of the Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA). The new Theatre Company season kicks off performances on September 11 and will feature eight mainstage productions including a fantastical William Shakespeare tale, a twist on an Alfred Hitchcock thriller, and a beloved folk-rock musical.
“The 2026/27 season is a vibrant celebration of theatrical imagination rich with reimagined classics, bold new plays, and stories that illuminate the heart of the human experience,” said Artistic Director Chris Coleman. “Audiences can look forward to a playful homage to the telenovela, Shakespeare’s final and most magical play, two witty and unforgettable world premieres, an intimate musical that pulses with emotion, a courageous journey through ancestry and identity, and a gripping thriller with plenty of twists at every turn. We look forward to welcoming audiences into a season defined by artistry and beautifully crafted storytelling.”

As with all productions produced and/or presented by the DCPA, ticket buyers who purchase tickets from a ticket broker or any third party run the risk of overpaying or purchasing illegitimate tickets. Patrons should be aware that the DCPA is unable to reprint or replace lost or stolen tickets and is unable to contact patrons with information regarding time changes or other pertinent updates regarding the performance.
