The Colorado Dragon Boat Festival is an annual cultural and athletic event held at Sloan’s Lake Park in Denver, Colorado, with the 2026 festival scheduled for August 29–30. It was first held in 2001 and has grown into a major celebration of the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) community, drawing over 200,000 attendees in recent years. The festival combines traditional dragon boat racing with a wide array of cultural, artistic, and culinary experiences.
