Joey Bland
is a Los Angeles based writer/performer who hails from Virginia, where he attended the College of William and Mary. He spent many years in Chicago where he performed with ComedySportz, the iO Theater, and The Second City. For two years, Joey traveled the world with The Second City Touring Company, and in 2009, he played the title role in The Second City’s hit, original musical, Rod Blagojevich, Superstar. Television credits include “Teachers” (TV Land) and “Forever” (Amazon Prime). Joey is also a two-time Jeopardy champion.
Brendan Dowling
is an actor and writer whose recent credits include writing for and appearing in Showtime’s Work in Progress. Stage credits include Baby Wants Candy, The Second City National Touring Company, and The Second City Denver’s How I Lost My Denverginity. Randall Harr
is an actor based in Los Angeles, California. He has performed and improvised at the iO, Annoyance, and Second City theatres in Chicago. Randall also spent two years in Amsterdam performing at the BOOM CHICAGO comedy theatre. Some of Randall’s Second City credits include, American Mixed Tape (Garner Galleria Theatre Denver), Sex and the Second City, (National Tour) Rod Blagojevich Super Star (Chicago Shakespeare Theater), Peach, Drop, Stop and Roll (Atlanta’s Alliance Theatre), #DateMe (UP Comedy Club) and Louder! Blaine Swen
is the creator and director of The Improvised Shakespeare Company®. He is a Nashville-based writer/actor who performed for many years in Chicago where the Chicago Reader named him the “Best Improviser in Chicago.” His iO Chicago credits include the two-person group Blessing with Susan Messing, The Armando Diaz Experience, The Deltones, and his award-winning one-person improvised musical BASH! Additional Chicago stage credits include The Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, The Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Pegasus Players Theatre, The Backroom Shakespeare Project, and The Second City. Television credits include “Crisis” (NBC), “The Odd Couple” (CBS), and “Star vs The Forces of Evil” (Disney). He has developed original pilots with NBC, Universal Cable Productions, and Pop TV. You can hear him as Arnor the Warrior and Barnor the Lawyer on the podcast “Hello, from the Magic Tavern.” Blaine also has a PhD in philosophy from Loyola University, Chicago.
Steve Waltien
is a five-time Emmy nominee and Peabody award-winning writer for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. He’s an alum of The Second City Mainstage and the iO Theater in Chicago. TV and film credits include Mike Birbiglia’s Don’t Think Twice, The Opposition with Jordan Klepper, Klepper, The Second City Project and Chicago PD. Steve plays Prince Tomblaine Belaroth on the podcast Hello From the Magic Tavern. He recently worked with rock legends Phish to create Sci-Fi Solider, a comic book that accompanies a suite of songs by the band.
Tim Sniffen
has performed with The Improvised Shakespeare Company® since 2008. He’s also worked with The Second City and the Boom Chicago theater in Amsterdam. His writing credits include “Work in Progress” on Showtime, “Live From Here” on NPR, and he currently directs and writes for Jackbox Games. Tim’s writing has been featured in The New Yorker and The American Bystander, and you can hear Tim as the Mysterious Man on the podcast “Hello From the Magic Tavern.”
Ross Bryant
is a writer/performer from North Carolina. Ross performed for many years in Chicago, where he was a member of the resident cast of The Second City Mainstage. Now in LA, Ross can be seen regularly at the Upright Citizens Brigade theater. Ross also tours the country and performs monthly at The Largo in LA with The Improvised Shakespeare Company®. Ross is currently a writer for “Mystery Science Theater 3000,” and recently co-wrote an original pilot for Warner Bros and the Showtime network. TV credits include “The Good Place” (NBC), “Crashing” (HBO), and “I Think You Should Leave” (Netflix). Ross is also a cartoonist. Josh Logan
is a Los Angeles-based writer/actor from Cleveland, OH. He has performed and toured with The Improvised Shakespeare Company, The Second City, and Baby Wants Candy. Some of Josh’s TV credits include; “American Housewife” (ABC), “Dave” (FX), and as several characters on the upcoming “Sausage Party” series (Amazon Prime).
