Musical productions performed by Colorado private and public high schools are eligible. You’ll receive detailed feedback on your musical production and could be nominated for the annual awards show. Only the first 50 schools to register can participate.
This year, the Bobby G Awards Program has received the highest level of interest in its history! Due to this overwhelming demand, we have been able to expand program registration to a total of 65 schools this season. We look forward to a wonderful year filled with musical theatre.
Registration is now closed for the 2026-2027 school year.
The Bobby G Arwards Ceremony will be held on Friday, May 21 2027 at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House.

Evaluators will provide detailed comments on technical achievement and performance skills with an emphasis on celebrating student achievement as well as areas to continue developing craft.
Nominees for Outstanding Overall Production of a Musical will perform a musical number from their school’s production at the Bobby G Award Ceremony. Winners for Outstanding Performance by a performer in a leading role will travel to New York to represent Colorado at The Jimmy Awards: National High School Musical Theatre Awards.
