Grayson Allensworth and Gillian Reynolds Perform at the Minskoff Theatre

On June 22, 116 high school students from across America stood on the largest stage of their lives…thus far. Each was recognized as the Outstanding Lead Performer in their state’s high school musical theatre awards program. For Colorado, those were Grayson Allensworth of the Denver School of the Arts and Gillian Reynolds from Durango High School, winners of the DCPA’s 2026 Bobby G High School Musical Theatre Awards. They joined other regional winners as part of the National High School Musical Theatre Awards® — otherwise known as the Jimmy Awards® — for a 10-day musical theatre intensive led by some of the biggest names in the business. The program culminated at the Minskoff Theatre with a performance to cap off an extraordinary program…and launch soon-to-be-extraordinary careers.
