Theater of the Mind began as a concept by multi-hyphenate artist David Byrne. In partnering with Charlie Miller, the Executive Director and Curator for the DCPA’s Off-Center programming, the immersive, theatrical neuroscience experience became a reality. After years in development, Theater of the Mind premiered at York Street Yards in August 2022, sparking conversation in The New Yorker, The Washington Post, Shondaland, and other major media outlets.
