We deliver first class Shakespearean performances and workshops for your school across the state. Now playing: Romeo and Juliet and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, right in your school’s parking lot.
Shakespeare in the Parking Lot is exactly what it sounds like: an abridged performance of Romeo & Juliet or A Midsummer Night’s Dream that takes place in and around our pick-up truck “set” that we drive to your school’s parking lot. Performances are followed by an in-class, interactive workshop that helps students connect themes of the play to contemporary issues and the high school experience.
Available in Sept, Oct, Apr and May, Shakespeare in the Parking Lot performances can accommodate up to 225 students and post-performance workshops move students from being an audience into roles of active engagement. Programming starts at $600 with full and partial scholarships available. Read all of the program details in the Shakespeare In the Parking Lot Information Packet.
