Stephen Weitz
Stephen Weitz, Director
Directed the recent DCPA Theatre Company production of Tribes. He also directed Jackie & Me and has appeared in the Theatre Company productions Tom Sawyer, King Lear, Richard III, Othello, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Stephen is the Producing Ensemble Director of Boulder Ensemble Theatre Company where he has directed Antigone, Fat Pig, The Sunset Limited, Gross Indecency, How The World Began, Bach at Leipzig, Seminar, The SantaLand Diaries, Ambition Facing West, and the World Premiere of And the Sun Stood Still. Stephen has worked at other prominent area theatres such as the Colorado Shakespeare Festival (Hamlet, Bottom, The Fool, and many others), the Arvada Center, and TheatreWorks. He holds an MFA from the Acting program at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival as well as an MA in Theatre from CU-Boulder.
Nicholas Renaud
Nicholas Renaud, Scenic Designer

Previous credits at Off-Center include Perception, Lord of the Butterflies and Lived/Re-Lived. Nicholas is currently a resident scenic design assistant with the DCPA Theater Company. Graduate of Emerson College in Boston.

Lily Bradford
Lily Bradford, Lighting Designer

Lily is happy to be returning to The SantaLand Diaries after last year’s production. Other lighting designs for Off-Center include Lord of the Butterflies, Lived/Re-lived, and Wheel of Misfortune. She is in her third season as the resident Assistant Lighting Designer with the DCPA Theatre Company. Previously she worked as the Master Electrician at Center Stage in Baltimore, Maryland and as the Assistant Master Electrician at The Shakespeare Theatre Company and Harman Center for  the Arts in Washington, DC.

Andrew Metzroth
Andrew Metzroth, Sound Designer
Andrew Metzroth has helped create over 150 shows in the Denver metro area since 2005. Selected BETC credits include Hysteria (Sound) Ambition Facing West (Lights), Grounded (Production Design), And the Sun Stood Still (Sound/Music), Seminar (Sound/ Music), Bach at Leipzig (Sound), GhostWriter (Sound), Mauritius (Lights), and seven years of The SantaLand Diaries (Lights/ Sound). Other Colorado credits include Autobahn, ‘Tis Pity She’s a Whore, and The Time Machine (Director) at CUBoulder; various designs for Center Stage Boulder; electrics at Curious Theatre Company; and Resident Stage Manager for Stories on Stage from 2006 - 2014. He holds a BFA in Theatre Technology and Design, a BA in Religious Studies, and an MA in Theatre from CU-Boulder. Metz serves as BETC’s Production Manager.
Anja Hose
Anja Hose, Stage Manager
Anja Hose is recently returned from New York City (where she sadly did not get to visit the real SantaLand) for her fourth year on The SantaLand Diaries with her favorite Boulder theatre company. Some BETC credits include Grounded, Bach at Leipzig and Mauritius, among others.
David Sedaris
David Sedaris, Playwright
David Sedaris is a playwright and a regular commentator for National Public Radio. He is also the author of the bestselling Barrel Fever, Naked, Holidays on Ice, Dress Your Family in Corduroy, Denim, When You Are Engulfed in Flames and Me Talk Pretty One Day. He travels extensively though Europe and the United States on lecture tours and lives in France.
